If ScanWriter is already installed, uninstall the current version while connected to the Internet. Copy the CD-Key to use for reactivation. A window will notify you that “License is successfully removed”. Please save a copy of the CD-Key for your record.
1. Please log in as System Administrators for installation.
2. Download ScanWriter Excel installation file from the download page. The download page link is available in the purchase confirmation e-mail.
3. Launch ScanWriter_Excel_WS_Std.exe file.
4. The Installer may ask you to download and install .Net framework 4.0. If the installer cannot download the file from web for any reason, please download it from the following download link from Microsoft and install manually.
5. Follow the InstallShield Wizard. Click ‘Next’ to continue. Click ‘I agree‘ to accept the agreement. Click ‘Install‘ to install all the program features and to complete the installation.
6. Click ‘Finish‘ button.
Step2: Install SourceLink for Excel
1. After the installation, a prompt will ask you to install SourceLink for Excel.
2. Click ‘Install’ to install SourceLink for Excel. Click ‘Close’ to complete.
1. You will see the ScanWriter registration window when you first launch ScanWriter.
2. If you wish to continue using ScanWriter under Trial, please click ‘Continue Trial’. This will deduct one trial count.
If you wish to activate ScanWriter, please click ‘Activate‘ button.
3. Click ‘Internet‘ if your computer system has Internet connection (Recommended). Otherwise, click ‘Phone’ for phone activation.
4. Fill out the form and click ‘Activate‘ button. If the activation failed, please contact Personable Technical Support (800)688-4281 for further assistance.
5. For phone activation, please contact Personable Technical Support (800)688-4281 to get the activation code.
