Microsoft Windows 10/11 now opens Internet Explorer using Microsoft Edge. If you want to login to Personable, you will need to do the following on Edge.
IF the computer has never logged into Personable before on Internet Explorer, you will need to do the following first, else skip to step3 MICROSOFT EDGE SETUP:
1: INTERNET OPTIONS SETUP
2: DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACR ZIP FILE FOR MICROSOFT EDGE SETUP
3: MICROSOFT EDGE SETUP
4: OPEN EDGE AND LOGIN
1: INTERNET OPTIONS SETUP:
Search for ‘Internet Options’ on the computer and then click ‘Internet Options’.
Then click on the ‘Security’ tab and then click on ‘Trusted Sites’ green checkmark.
Then click on ‘Sites’ and add the website.
Add “https://*.personable.com” in ‘Add this website to the zone:’ textbox.
Then click ‘Add’
Then click ‘Close’.
Now click the ‘Privacy’ tab. If ‘Turn on Pop-up Blocker’ is NOT CHECKED, then you can click ‘OK’ on the bottom to exit Internet Options.
But if ‘Turn on Pop-up Blocker’ is CHECKED, you will need to click the ‘Settings’ button.
Then add “*.personable.com” under the ‘Address of website to allow:’ textbox and then click ‘Add’.
After the site has been added, simply click ‘Close’ and then ‘OK’ out of Internet Options.
2: DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACR ZIP FILE FOR MICROSOFT EDGE SETUP
Step 1: Download/Extract Zip File to Setup Personable Login for Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge and go to https://cloud.personable.com/1/login.htm
Then click on ‘Advanced Options +’ blue link.
Then click on the ‘Microsoft Edge Setup for Windows 10 & Windows 11’.
Then click ‘Save as’ to download the file to your computer.
Then right-click the zip file and click ‘Extract All’ to extract it.
Then click ‘Extract’
3: MICROSOFT EDGE SETUP
There should now be a folder named “Enable Edge Compatibility” in the same location as the zip file.
Open this folder until you see 3 files.
Now go ahead and double-click on the ‘run.cmd’ file.
4: LOGIN TO PERSONABLE WITH MICROSOFT EDGE
Close every instance of Microsoft Edge.
Then open Microsoft Edge.
Go to https://cloud.personable.com/1/login.htm
Then put in your login email and password and click ‘login‘ to connect to Personable.
